Top Product Management Resources

If someone were to ask you to identify your favorite product management resource, what would you say? Would you identify a must-have tool, an entertaining video, an informative podcast, or an inspiring podcast? Yeah, we couldn’t pick just one either, so we decided to reflect back on some of the resource compilations we published over the past year.

Tools that help product people. Product managers generally create products to solve others’ problems. Some product managers realized it was easier just to solve their own problems and create a product for product managers. If you find you’re facing a problem where you think a tool would come in handy, take a look at these lists to see if a fellow product manager has done you a favor.

Top product management videos. Would you like to pick up some useful product management knowledge? Do you need to take a break from tweaking your roadmap for the 14th time? It may be time to check out some popcorn-worthy videos that are safe for work. Here are five product management videos that inform, entertain and give you a break from the day to day, at least for a few minutes.

Top product management podcasts. Podcasts are a great way to gain new knowledge on a long commute or while you’re doing tasks around the house that don’t require your full attention. The good news (and bad news) is there is a wealth of podcasts about product management to pick from. To help you narrow your choices, here is a selection of podcasts that all feature discussions with people who do product management, or help others do it.

Top podcast episodes from 2020.  Above we recommended some good podcasts for product people by product people. We thought it only proper to suggest some specific podcast episodes recorded during 2020 that cover key aspects of product management.

Top product management posts. In many cases, the most useful advice for dealing with a situation comes from people who have already gone through that situation. Here are some of our favorite compilations of advice from the broader product management community.
